Day 1: Arrival in Kunming – Gateway to Yunnan

In the evening, return to Kunming for a relaxing dinner and explore the Nanping Street for some shopping.

Day 3: Dali – Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountains

Travel to Dali, a city surrounded by stunning landscapes. Visit Erhai Lake, one of China’s largest highland lakes, and take a boat ride to see the picturesque fishing villages. In the afternoon, hike or take a cable car to the top of the Cangshan Mountains for panoramic views of Dali and Erhai Lake. Spend the night in the Old Town of Dali, where you can explore the ancient streets, markets, and try local Bai cuisine.

Day 4: Lijiang – Naxi Culture and Jade Dragon Snow Mountain

Head to Lijiang, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved ancient town. Visit Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, where you can take a cable car up to view the stunning snow-covered peaks. Visit Yufeng Monastery and learn about the local Naxi culture. Explore Black Dragon Pool for views of the mountains and old town.

Day 5: Shangri-La – Tibetan Culture and Nature

Travel to Shangri-La, located in the Tibetan Plateau. Visit the songzanlin monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in the region. In the afternoon, explore the nearby pudacuo national park, a paradise of alpine lakes, meadows, and forests. Take a leisurely walk around Shangri-La Old Town, which is filled with Tibetan architecture and culture.

Day 6: Return to Kunming via Zhongdian

On your final day, visit Zhongdian (Shangri-La’s Old Town) for a glimpse into Tibetan life. Take in the Tibetan-style architecture and interact with the friendly locals. Then, head back to Kunming for your flight home, enriched by the breathtaking beauty and diverse cultures of Yunnan.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
