 Alterations to Bookings

Requests for alterations to bookings must be made in writing and may incur additional fees. Changes are subject to availability and the policies of our suppliers, including hotels, airlines, and tour operators.↳

Custom Itinerary Adjustments

We are happy to adjust your custom itinerary based on your needs. If you choose an alternative itinerary of equal standard and quality, we will make these adjustments at no extra charge.↳

Additional Costs

Please be aware that if itinerary changes incur additional costs, such as extra ticket prices or flight fares, these costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

Major Itinerary Changes

For significant changes to your itinerary, we recommend discussing them with your travel advisor first. Any additional costs will depend on your travel dates and the specific changes made to the itinerary.

 Travel Documentation

All travelers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health certifications. We are not responsible for any issues arising from improper documentation.↳

All travelers must have a passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining and any necessary visas or permits before starting their journey. Unless traveling from a visa-free country or traveling to a city with transit visa exemptions, you will also need a valid Chinese visa to travel within China.↳

All such documents are the responsibility of the traveler. While your travel advisor can assist with the application for the required travel documents upon request, Into Travel China is not responsible for any issues arising from invalid passports or the inability to obtain necessary visas that may prevent you from traveling.

 Luggage

Luggage allowances vary depending on the airline, travel class, and route. It is important to check your specific airline's baggage policies before departure, as they can affect both carry-on and checked luggage.Generally, most international flights include a free checked baggage allowance, but weight and size limits can differ. Exceeding these limits may result in additional fees, which are the responsibility of the traveler.

According to the regulations of the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, the free baggage allowance within China is 20kg in economy class, 30kg in business class, 40kg in first class, and limited carry-on baggage. Excess baggage charges are the responsibility of the traveller. Failure to comply with baggage allowance regulations may result in airport staff refusing to load suitcases onto planes, trains, ships and other means of transport.

Into Travel China recommends that you clearly mark all luggage with your name, address and telephone number to avoid loss of luggage.

 Health and Safety

At Into Travel China, your health and safety are our top priorities. We strongly advise that travelers take the necessary precautions to protect their health during their trip, including staying informed about any health advisories or vaccinations required for travel to China.

We recommend that you consult with your healthcare provider regarding any specific health concerns or conditions before departure. It is also advisable to carry a sufficient supply of any necessary medications, as availability may vary.

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information, Into Travel China cannot guarantee complete protection from health risks and is not responsible for any health-related issues that may arise during your trip. We encourage all travelers to have appropriate travel insurance that includes health coverage.

Travelers who are pregnant should consult with their healthcare provider before booking and embarking on a trip. It’s essential to discuss travel plans, potential risks, and any necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of both the mother and the unborn child.

Travellers travelling to Tibet must provide a doctor's certificate stating that they are in good health and that their blood pressure and heart condition are normal. Because Tibet is known for its high altitude, which can pose health risks, including altitude sickness.

We reserve the right to refuse to allow you to travel or to participate in any activity on the tour at any time at your own risk and expense if we consider you to be physically or mentally unfit to travel or if you pose a danger to yourself or others.

 Insurance

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance to cover potential risks, including trip cancellations, medical emergencies, and loss of personal belongings. Our packages include basic accident insurance, but this may not cover all eventualities.↳

Travelers should ensure that their insurance policy is valid for the entire duration of their trip and provides adequate coverage for their specific needs, including any planned activities that may carry additional risks. In particular, if traveling to high-altitude areas like Tibet, ensure your policy covers health issues related to altitude sickness.

Into Travel China does not offer travel insurance directly and is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred that could have been covered by appropriate insurance. It is the responsibility of the traveler to verify the terms and conditions of their insurance policy and to carry proof of insurance during their trip.
