Q & A

What is the overall pace of this tour? Is it too rushed with so many scenic spots?
The itinerary is carefully balanced. You'll have a full day at Huangguoshu and another at Fanjing Mountain, with relaxed village visits in between. We avoid long driving days by spacing destinations logically. If you prefer a slower pace, we can extend your stay – just let us know.
What is the weather like in Guizhou, and what should I pack?
Guizhou has a mild, humid climate with frequent rain year-round (10–28°C, depending season). Mountain areas like Fanjing are cooler and windy. Pack a waterproof jacket, comfortable walking shoes, layers (including a fleece), an umbrella, and sun protection. A foldable rain poncho is handy for waterfall visits.
What transportation is provided during the tour?
We provide private, comfortable car/van service with an experienced local driver for the entire trip – including airport/hotel transfers and all inter-city travel between Guiyang, Huangguoshu, Kaili, and Fanjing. You won't need to worry about navigation or parking. Just relax and enjoy the scenery.
Are entrance fees to all attractions included in the price?
Entrance fees are generally not included in the base package, but we can pre-purchase all tickets for you at competitive rates. This includes Huangguoshu (with sightseeing bus), Qingyan Ancient Town, Fanjing Mountain (with cable car), and village visits. Just tell us your preference, and we'll handle everything.
How physically demanding is Fanjing Mountain? Any health tips?
Fanjing involves a cable car to the upper station, then a 1–2 hour stair climb to the Mushroom Stone peak (2,336m). It's moderate but requires good knees. Those with heart conditions, high blood pressure, or pregnancy should consult a doctor. We recommend hiking poles (provided on request) and taking frequent rests.
