After breakfast, you will explore the beautiful scenery of Guilin.
Starting from Mopan Mountain Pier, we will cruise down the Li River to Yangshuo Town. This 84-kilometer cruise is like an endless Chinese ink painting, with meandering rivers, green limestone karst mountains.( Tips: Simple local dishes are provided for lunch on board, or you can prepare your own snacks.)
After sailing for about four hours, we will arrive at Yangshuo town and check into your hotel. After a short rest, we will continue to explore the Yulong River. You can choose to ride a bicycle through the countryside, or take a bamboo raft on the river. (Note: According to the Yulong River Tourism Regulations. Children less than 1 meter tall and seniors over 70 years old will not be able to experience bamboo rafting, please be aware of this.)
Stepping into Silver Cave(Yinziyan Cave) scenic spot, you will embark on a magical journey of discovery that lasts about 60 minutes. Yinziyan Cave is a typical karst cave. Inside the cave, stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars and other landscapes are in a thousand shapes and colors, which is like a natural underground art treasury.
Former U.S. President Bill Clinton also praised the stunning scenery of Silver Cave, and during his visit to China in 1998, he even postponed his trip to Hong Kong in order to visit it.
Optional Activities
You can enjoy a wonderful evening show - Impression Liu Sanjie. This show, which uses the Li River as a stage, is directed by the famous director Zhang Yimou (the usual performance time is from 19:45 to 22:20).
Elephant Trunk Hill -Jingjiang Prince's Mansion (Duxiu Peak)

Early in the morning, you will visit Elephant Trunk Hill, the
symbol of Guilin's landscape. This huge rocky mountain resembles a
lifelike elephant drinking from the river. Within the embrace of the
Elephant Trunk Hill, you will also find many historical relics such as
exquisite stone carvings and serene Buddhist temples.
Afterwards, we will take you into the Jingjiang King's Mansion, which is known as the "Small Forbidden City in the South". This is one of the best-preserved Ming Dynasty royal residences in China.
Next, you can climb Duxiu Peak, the head of Guilin's mountains and the king of all mountains, where the earliest poem "Guilin's landscape is superior to the rest of the world" was carved on Duxiu Peak.
As the tour comes to an end, we will drive to transfer you to the airport or train station to your next destination.

Q & A
Is the Li River cruise ticket included? What about the simple lunch on board?
Yes, the Li River cruise from Mopan Mountain Pier to Yangshuo is fully covered. A simple local lunch is served on board at no extra cost, though you're welcome to bring your own snacks if you prefer. The cruise lasts about four hours and is a highlight of the trip.
For the Yulong River, should we choose biking or bamboo rafting? Are there age or height restrictions?
Both are wonderful. Biking lets you enjoy the countryside at your own pace, while bamboo rafting gives a serene water-level view of the karst mountains. Please note: children under 1 meter tall and seniors over 70 are not allowed on the bamboo rafts due to local safety rules. Your guide will help you choose the best option for your group.
Is the Impression Liu Sanjie show included? How much does it cost, and can you book it?
It's an optional evening show, not included in the base package. Ticket prices vary by seat, usually around RMB 200–600 per person. We can book it for you in advance and arrange transport. Let us know at least a day ahead if you're interested.
What's the weather like in Guilin? What should we pack?
Guilin is subtropical—hot and humid in summer, mild in spring and autumn, and cool in winter. Comfortable walking shoes are essential, especially for the cave and any countryside walking. A light rain jacket or umbrella is wise year-round. We'll send a detailed forecast and packing list one week before your trip.
Only breakfast is listed on some days. Can we arrange lunch and dinner through you, and handle special diets?
Yes, lunch and dinner are left flexible so you can try local Guilin rice noodles and Yangshuo beer fish. We can also pre-book restaurants along the route. Vegetarian, halal, and allergy requests are welcome—just tell us at booking, and we'll make sure every meal is comfortable.
Is this itinerary suitable for older parents or young children?
It's a gentle itinerary overall. The cruise is very relaxing, and the cave walk is manageable. The main thing to note is the bamboo raft restriction for children under 1m and adults over 70. Biking can be replaced with a car transfer if needed. Your guide will adjust the pace for your family.
