Q & A

How do we get from Zhangjiajie to Guangzhou, and how long does the journey take?
You take the high-speed train – it takes about 5 to 5.5 hours from Zhangjiajie West to Guangzhou South, with your tour arranging all tickets and transfers.
How physically demanding is the Zhangjiajie portion of this tour?
It's very demanding – expect steep stone stairs (including Tianmen Mountain's famous 999-step staircase) and long walks, but the park also offers cable cars and the Bailong elevator to reduce exertion.
Can I use my credit card, or do I need cash?
Download Alipay or WeChat Pay before you arrive, link your international card – these are accepted everywhere – but keep a small amount of RMB cash as backup for small vendors.
