The day's Citywalk tour begins at the Chen Clan Academy a Qing Dynasty ancestral hall famous for its exquisite wood, stone, brick, colorful paintings and ceramic sculptures. Stepping inside is like traveling back in time to savor the Lingnan culture and the mastery of traditional craftsmanship.

Next, walk to the Six Banyan Temple, an ancient temple built in the Southern Dynasty and named after Su Dongpo's inscription “Six Banyan”. Inside the temple, the colorful Six Banyan Temple is set against the ancient trees, where you can listen to the sound of bells and experience peace and quiet.

Then proceed to Yuexiu Park, the largest comprehensive park in Guangzhou. Stroll along the boulevard, enjoy the natural greenery and climb up to Zhenhai Lou for a great view of Guangzhou City.

In the afternoon, walk to Beijing Road, the bustling commercial street of Guangzhou and the birthplace of history and culture. With stores lining the street and hidden historical sites such as the ruins of the South Vietnam Watergate, you can experience the charm of blending the ancient and the modern while shopping.

Finally, head to the Canton Tower, the world's second tallest TV tower, which is one of the best places to see the night view of Yangcheng. Take the high-speed elevator right to the top of the tower for a 360-degree view of Guangzhou City, and as night falls, the illuminated night view will be the perfect ending to your Citywalk tour.

I'm traveling in the summer, and I'm worried about the heat during the Guangzhou Walk Tour.
Are there any measures in place to keep us cool?

We understand that the summer in Guangzhou can be hot. Our guides will recommend wearing light - colored, breathable clothing and a hat.
