Summary: Ride a cliffside roller coaster, walk a glass bridge over waterfalls, then drift through an underground river in a hidden karst cave.
Hotel: N/A (Day trip only – returns to Guangzhou in the evening)
Meals: No Food (lunch on your own; local snacks available at scenic spots)

Your guide and driver will pick you up from your Guangzhou hotel in the morning. Buckle up for a 1.5‑hour drive to Qingyuan Gulong Gorge, a playground built into the mountains.

You start with a leisurely walk through Dinosaur Valley, where life‑sized dinosaur models peek out from the jungle – a fun, photo‑friendly warm‑up. Continue deeper into the gorge to reach the Gulong Waterfall Cluster. Here, multiple cascades crash down mossy cliffs. Pause at the main viewing deck to feel the cool mist on your face.

Next, step onto the Skywalk Glass Bridge – a transparent path suspended high above the roaring waterfalls. Look down through the glass at the river rushing far below. This is the perfect spot for a fearless souvenir photo (or a white‑knuckle shuffle across).

Now the real fun begins. You’ll board the Cliffside Flying Car – a personal rail car that lets you control your speed as you zoom down the mountain along a winding track. Feel the wind rush past as you twist and turn with the gorge as your backdrop. At the bottom, switch to a QQ Cart (a small, speedy go‑kart) and race back to the park entrance, where your guide is waiting with a smile.

After this adrenaline rush, drive to Yingde Cave Heaven (about 1 hour). Here, you’ll explore a karst underground river – board a small boat and glide into a massive limestone cavern. Stalactites and stalagmites glow in soft lights, creating a dreamlike world of natural sculptures. Your boatman will point out shapes that resemble dragons, elephants, and ancient pagodas.

When you emerge back into daylight, your driver will take you directly to your Guangzhou hotel, ending a day packed with heights, speed, and subterranean wonder.

Q & A

The Cliffside Flying Car and QQ Cart sound fun — are they safe? Do I need any experience?
Both are very safe and require no prior experience. The Cliffside Flying Car runs on a fixed steel track — you sit in a small rail car and control your speed with a simple lever. You can go as fast or as slow as you like. The QQ Cart is a low-to-ground go-kart on a designated track with safety barriers. Helmets are provided, and your guide will explain the basics before you start. Kids as young as 6–8 can ride with an adult on the Flying Car, and older kids can drive the QQ Cart independently. The most common reaction is not fear — it's laughing and wanting to go again.
How long is the full day? What time do we actually get back to Guangzhou?
The day runs from approximately 8:00 AM pickup to around 6:30–7:00 PM return. Here's how it breaks down: 1.5-hour drive to Gulong Gorge, about 3–4 hours at the gorge (Dinosaur Valley, waterfalls, glass bridge, Flying Car, QQ Cart), 1-hour drive to Yingde Cave Heaven, about 40 minutes for the cave boat ride, then 2-hour drive back to Guangzhou. It's a full day, but the variety of activities keeps it from feeling like a grind. You'll be back in time for a late dinner.
I'm visiting Guangzhou for business — can I squeeze this in on a free day?
Absolutely — this tour is well-suited for business travelers with one free day. The Guangzhou hotel pickup and drop-off means no logistics stress, and the full-day format (8 AM to 7 PM) fits neatly into a single day without taking up your evening entirely. The private guide and car mean you can adjust the pace if needed — if you have an early evening commitment, you can shorten the cave visit or leave Gulong Gorge earlier. Just let your guide know at the start of the day. Many business travelers use this tour as a "weekend escape" during extended work trips to the Pearl River Delta.
