  • Gulong Gorge--Yuntian Boba--Cliff Racer

Your adventure begins with a scenic drive to Qingyuan. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the lush, emerald-green vistas of Gulong Gorge. Here, you will embark on an exhilarating exploration, walking along the world's longest and widest glass-bottomed skywalk. Suspended high above the canyon, it offers uninterrupted, awe-inspiring views of the waterfalls and forests below—a truly unforgettable start to your journey.

Following this sky-high walk, prepare for the spectacular Yuntian Boba. This is not just a viewing platform; it's a massive, multi-level complex of glass walkways, bridges, and observation decks built directly against the cliff face. As you traverse it, you will feel as if you are walking through the clouds, with the roar of the magnificent waterfall echoing around you, creating a powerful and immersive natural experience.

To complete your adrenaline-filled day, the adventure culminates with the Cliff Racer. This is your chance to descend the mountain in the most thrilling way possible! Hop into a controlled roller-coaster car and speed down the mountainside along a winding track carved through the jungle. It's a fun, fast, and exhilarating way to conclude your tour before we enjoy a comfortable drive back to Guangzhou.

Q & A

I'm a bit nervous about walking on a glass skywalk. How high is it, and is it safe?
The glass skywalk at Gulong Gorge is suspended high above the canyon floor — the exact height is substantial enough that you're looking down at waterfall cascades and forest canopy. The structure is built to rigorous safety standards and is regularly inspected. The glass is multi-layered reinforced safety glass, similar to what's used on glass bridges worldwide. If you feel nervous, you can start walking along the sides where the metal frame is visible beneath the glass, then gradually move toward the transparent center as you get comfortable. Most visitors who say they're afraid of heights find that the beauty of the view helps them overcome the fear within a few minutes.
What exactly is the Cliff Racer? Is it safe?
The Cliff Racer is a personal rail car that runs on a fixed steel track winding down the mountainside. You sit in the car, control your speed with a simple lever, and descend through the jungle along the track. Think of it as a mountain roller coaster where you control the speed — go as fast or as slow as you like. It's very safe: the track is fixed, the car has safety restraints, and the speed is naturally limited by the track design. No prior experience is needed, and riders of all ages can enjoy it (children can ride with an adult). The most common reaction is laughter and wanting to do it again.
Is this tour suitable for someone who's not very fit or active?
Yes — the tour is designed for general visitors, not athletes. The glass skywalk and Yuntian Boba platforms involve walking on flat or gently inclined surfaces — there's no climbing required. The Cliff Racer does the downhill work for you (you sit and ride). You'll be on your feet for a few hours, but at a relaxed pace with plenty of stops for photos and enjoying the scenery. The only physically demanding part is the walking itself — there are some stairs between levels of the Yuntian Boba complex, but nothing extreme. If you can manage a few hours of casual walking, you'll be fine.
