Arrival in Fuzhou

4-Star Hotel

Breakfast

Your exploration begins in Fuzhou, where the Min River's whispers carry 2,200 years of history. After a personalized airport welcome, settle into your luxury riverside hotel where traditional Min-style architecture meets contemporary design. As twilight paints the sky, embark on a sensory stroll through Nanhou Street's Night Market, where the air hangs heavy with the aroma of fermented fish paste and freshly pulled rice noodles. Watch master craftsmen demonstrate the nearly-lost art of Fuzhou lacquerware - each piece requiring 200 layers of polish. Cap your evening with a private tasting of "Buddha Jumping Over the Wall", the imperial soup that uses quail eggs as edible spoons to scoop up treasures like abalone and sea cucumber.

Three Lanes and Seven Alleys--Banyan Canopy Walk(Da Fu Dao)-- Zuohai Lake--Shangxia Hang

4-Star Hotel

Breakfast

Morning:
Enter the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys, where each stone path tells a merchant's tale. In Guxin Lane, participate in a private workshop crafting oil-paper umbrellas-learning how local artisans achieve that signature translucent glow. Nearby, the Lin Zexu Memorial reveals shocking details of the Opium Wars through interactive holograms.

Ascend to the Banyan Canopy Walk, 12 meters above ground, where your guide points out rare epiphytes growing in thousand-year-old trees. Pause at the "Whispering Banyan", where placing your ear against the trunk reveals the hollow sound that made these trees ancient communication tools.

Afternoon:
Glide across Zuohai Lake in a hand-carved wooden boat, passing the surreal European Castle where a 1920s tea tycoon hosted jazz parties. In Shangxia Hang, goldsmiths still weigh precious metals using ancient Min measures - your chance to commission a personalized charm. As dusk falls, the Minguo Teahouse transforms into a 1930s time capsule, where servers in period costume perform the elaborate "Fujian Tea Ballet" - pouring six teas in synchrony.

Yantai Mountain--Chuzhou Island--Pingtan

4-Star Hotel

Breakfast

Morning:
The Yantai Mountain Art District reveals Fuzhou's cosmopolitan past:

  • Former Russian Consulate housing a revolutionary VR experience of the Tea Road

  • Strawberry Mansion's fusion of Baroque and Min carving styles

  • Secret Underground Bank Vaults where silver sycees were stored

At Chuzhou Island, photograph the "Fuzhou Venice" illusion when tides perfectly mirror pastel buildings. Peek inside the Maritime Customs Museum to see the world's only surviving opium testing kit from 1842.

Afternoon:
Your business-class high-speed train seats provide panoramic views as you cross the Pingtan Strait Bridge-watch for the rare Chinese white dolphins that often surface near Pillar #137. Upon arrival, your butler escorts you to the Cliffside Glass Villas, where your infinity pool merges visually with the Taiwan Strait.

Xianren Jing--Beigang Village--Ring Island Road--Jingsha Secret Beach--Changjiang Ao

4-Stars Hotel

Breakfast

At Xianren Jing, time your visit with the tidal surge (our concierge arranges this) when seawater explodes 15 meters skyward through volcanic tubes. Local legend claims these waters grant longevity - fill your provided crystal vial at the Taoist Priest's Spring.

In Beigang Village, master stone mason Chen Lao (age 87) demonstrates how coral blocks are fitted without mortar. Try your hand at carving the "Lucky Fish" symbol that decorates every house.

Your private Ring Island Road tour includes exclusive stops:

  • Jingsha Secret Beach access via a fisherman's tunnel

  • Changjiang Ao VIP Platform with telescope views of Taiwan

  • Sunset Champagne Toast at a decommissioned lighthouse

Dinner is a Chef's Table experience in a converted fishing hut, where your seafood is cooked using hot volcanic stones from the island's core.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
