In the morning, you will go to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding. This is not only a scientific research base for pandas around the world, but also a cozy home for more than a hundred of pandas. You will be able to observe pandas of all ages eating, playing, rolling on the ground and climbing trees.
In the afternoon, you will step into Chengdu People's Park to experience the unique leisure and ease of this city. Here you can order a pot of tea and take a nap or join the local people in a game of mahjong and experience the ear cleaning service.
Next, we drove to Wuhou Shrine, which is known as the "mecca of
the Three Kingdoms" The most venerated memorial of Zhuge
Liang, Liu Bei and other important Shu Han individuals. It is not only an important carrier of the Three Kingdoms culture, but also a treasure of ancient Chinese architectural and sculptural art.
As night falls, you will step into the Jinli street, which has ancient buildings, lots of Chengdu snacks and cuisines, and exquisite handicrafts that are lively and interesting folk performances. You will spend an unforgettable night here.

What’s the best time to visit the Panda Base? Any tips?
We recommend arriving by 8:00 AM — pandas are most active in the cool morning; after 10:30 they often retreat indoors. The base is large; you can take the sightseeing bus (30 yuan/person, not included). No feeding or loud noises. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent — our guide will brief you before entry.
What should I not miss at Wuhou Shrine and Jinli Street?
At Wuhou Shrine, don't miss the “Three Stele” and Liu Bei’s tomb — they’re rich in Three Kingdoms history. Jinli, adjacent to the shrine, is perfect for strolling, watching Sichuan opera face-changing (evening show optional), and tasting local snacks like Three-Cannon Balls and Tangyou Guozi. Our guide will take you through the highlights.
Which evening activity do you recommend among Chunxi Road, a show, or local life?
Each has its charm: Chunxi Road for shopping and night views; a Sichuan opera show (e.g., Shufeng Yayun) for face-changing and fire-spitting — most culturally immersive; local life experience means visiting a tea house or strolling a community park. For first-timers, we highly recommend the opera show (around 150–280 yuan, not included).
