Visit the most famous attractions in China! Taste the most authentic Chinese cuisine! Enjoy a 100% No-Shopping Tour! Our Promise: Your journey will not have any shopping stops or hidden expenses. In today’s travel market, many tour operators use low prices to attract customers, but they often include shopping stops in the itinerary to increase profits. Some clearly state these shopping arrangements—usually 1 to 2 stops per day—while others embed them subtly, such as visits to jade shops, silk museums, local specialty stores, or tea houses. These are often disguised shopping stops. Such arrangements not only waste your valuable travel time, but also offer no tax refunds upon departure and may involve questionable product quality. That’s why we promise: No shopping stops that affect your travel experience or mood. We are committed to quality service, with no compromises.
I found this itinerary easy to settle into because it combines China’s major historical sights with a few hands-on experiences. Beijing was a natural starting point. Walking through Tian’anmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace gave me a good introduction to the city’s imperial history.
The Mutianyu Great Wall was one of the highlights for me. Taking the cable car up left more energy for walking along the wall and taking in the mountain scenery. Later, seeing the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube offered a completely different side of Beijing.
What I enjoyed most was the hutong dumpling-making experience. Rather than simply walking through the old neighbourhoods, I actually got involved in making a traditional dish before exploring the hutongs by rickshaw. In Xi’an, the Terracotta Warrior workshop added another hands-on element. Making a small replica after seeing the archaeological site made the thousands of original figures feel much more tangible.

Shanghai felt like a clear change of pace. The view from Shanghai Tower put the scale of the city into perspective, while Yuyuan Garden and Qibao Ancient Town offered a quieter side of Shanghai. By the final day, Jade Buddha Temple and Tianzifang made for a relaxed finish before heading to the airport.
Explore each day’s highlights, pace, routes, hotels, meals, and photos—so you know exactly what to expect along the way.
