First, you will head to Huanglong Cave, which is about 20 kilometres away. Known as the most beautiful cave in the world, this karst wonder is 100,000 square metres wide, 7.6 kilometres long, and a staggering 140 metres high. Here, you will see tens of thousands of stalactites and stalagmites of different shapes and forms, which are either like mountains and rivers, or like birds and animals, with different and lifelike forms.

In the late afternoon, the bus carried the tourists to the next stop - Baofeng Lake. This is a quiet and mysterious lake, surrounded by mountains, the lake is crystal clear, like a bright pearl set in the valley. Visitors take the boat, gently rowing across the lake, the breeze, bringing a slight coolness, let a person relaxed and happy. Does the private car include pickup from our hotel in Zhangjiajie? What about drop-off after the tour?
Yes, your private car and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Zhangjiajie city center and drop you back there after the tour. All transfers are included.
What's the temperature like inside Huanglong Cave? Should we bring a jacket?
The cave stays cool year-round, usually around 16–20°C. In summer, it feels refreshing; in winter, it's mild. A light jacket or long-sleeve shirt is a good idea for comfort.
Is the Baofeng Lake boat ride suitable for everyone? Are there any age or height restrictions?
The boat ride is gentle and safe for all ages. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. There are no strict height restrictions, but children should be supervised by adults on the boat.
Will rain affect the tour? What if it rains on the day?
Huanglong Cave is mostly indoor, so rain doesn't affect it. Baofeng Lake is still beautiful in light rain—mist over the water adds to the atmosphere. If heavy rain is forecast, we'll adjust the order or provide ponchos. Your comfort and safety come first.
What time does the tour end? Can we book an evening flight or train?
The tour usually ends around 5:00–5:30 PM back in Zhangjiajie. For an evening departure, we recommend a flight after 8:00 PM or a train after 7:30 PM to be safe. If your schedule is tighter, we can adjust the start time or shorten stops.
