Q & A

The tagline says "Pricey but worth it for adventurers." Is this really only for thrill-seekers, or can a casual visitor enjoy it too?
It's true that the park leans toward adventure activities, but it's not only for extreme thrill-seekers. The Cloud-High Glass Bridge, Heavenly River Boat Tour, and Equestrian Carousel Lift are gentle enough for most visitors — you can enjoy those without any adrenaline required. The Mountain Drift and Sky Drift let you control your own speed, so you can take them slowly if you prefer. The tagline reflects the fact that most visitors come for the thrill rides, but the park has enough variety that even a casual visitor will find plenty to enjoy. If you're willing to try at least one or two active rides, you'll have a great day.
What's the difference between Mountain Drift (Alpine Cart) and Sky Drift (Glass Water Slide)?
They are completely different experiences. The Mountain Drift is a 3-kilometer track that you drive on a low go-kart-style vehicle — think of it like a real-life racing game with S-curves and controlled drifting. You control the speed with a pedal or lever. The Sky Drift is a 1,350-meter glass water slide where you ride down the mountain in a two-person inflatable raft, sliding on a thin layer of water inside a transparent glass channel. Raincoats are provided free of charge. The Mountain Drift feels more like driving; the Sky Drift feels more like a water park ride. Most visitors do both, as they're completely different sensations.
What is the Equestrian Escalator (Carousel Lift)? It sounds unusual.
It is unusual, and that's exactly why people enjoy it. The Equestrian Escalator is a rotating carousel that moves uphill instead of staying in place. You sit on a carved horse or carriage, and as the carousel rotates, it also carries you upward along a track, like a whimsical merry-go-round that also functions as a lift. It's a gentle, fairytale-like ride with great views of the surrounding hills, especially beautiful at sunset when the light is golden. It's not a thrill ride — it's a charming, photo-friendly way to move between sections of the park. Children especially love it.
The guide doesn't accompany you during the activities. How does this work in practice?
Your guide will drive you from Hangzhou to the park, help you purchase or validate your ticket, explain the two route options, and give you an overview of the park layout and how to navigate between attractions. Then you enter and explore independently. Each attraction has clear signage, and the routes are well-marked — you follow a sequence from one ride to the next. The park staff at each attraction can assist with basic instructions using gestures and simple English. At the end of the day, you exit the park and meet your guide at the pre-arranged meeting point for the drive back to Hangzhou. It's a common and well-tested format for this type of adventure park.
