  • Private Transfer to Qingyuan for a Full Day of High-Octane Adventure — Explore Guxia Gorge‘s Glass Bridge and World-Class Whitewater Rafting, Followed by a Competitive Karting Session
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Buckle up for the wildest day of your trip as you leave the city behind and head north into the lush, mountainous terrain of Qingyuan. Known as the “Backyard Garden of Guangzhou” and the undisputed “King of Rafting” in China, this region promises a full-throttle immersion into Guangdong’s great outdoors.

Morning — Walk on Air at the Guxia Gorge Glass Bridge:
Upon arrival at the Guxia Gorge Scenic Area, you‘ll make a beeline for the Yuntianboba Glass Bridge—a jaw-dropping engineering marvel that holds multiple world records. Spanning a staggering 1,314 meters across the lush canyon, this transparent walkway suspends you hundreds of meters above the roaring river below. It’s a true test of nerve: look down and you‘ll see the forest canopy and whitewater swirling beneath your feet; look out and you’re rewarded with a panoramic postcard view of the gorge‘s dramatic cliff faces. You’ll also have time to explore the surrounding glass platforms and suspension corridors that make this complex one of the largest glass bridge experiences in the world.

Midday — Conquer the “Roller Coaster on Water”:
After catching your breath, trade the sky for the rapids with a session on the Guxia Gorge Whitewater Rafting course. This isn‘t your average lazy river float—this is a certified international competition venue with a 6,063-meter track and a staggering 378-meter total drop, making it the world record holder for the longest and steepest natural water race course. You’ll suit up in safety gear and board a raft that will whip you down the canyon at thrilling speeds. Expect to get completely drenched as you smash through frothing waves, navigate technical chutes, and scream with laughter as your raft bounces off granite boulders. It‘s equal parts adrenaline and cooling relief from Guangdong’s subtropical heat.

Afternoon — Speed and Grit on the Karting Track:
Just when you think the excitement is over, you‘ll head to one of Qingyuan’s premier outdoor karting tracks—a sprawling 10,000-square-meter asphalt circuit designed by professional track architects. You‘ll strap into a responsive 200cc kart and take on a challenging 1,000-meter course packed with S-bends, hairpin turns, and overtaking lanes. Feel the G-force kick in as you accelerate out of the corners and drift through the curves. A friendly race with your travel companions is the perfect, high-octane finale to this epic day out. After the session, relax in the private vehicle as you’re whisked back to Guangzhou for a well-earned dinner on your own—perhaps some celebratory dim sum.

  • Full Day Unleashing Your Inner Child at Guangzhou‘s Premier Amusement Park — Experience Record-Breaking Roller Coasters and World-Class Entertainment at Chimelong Paradise
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Today is dedicated to pure, unadulterated fun at Chimelong Paradise, China’s premier amusement park and a heavyweight contender on the global theme park stage. Far more than just a collection of rides, this vast park is a sensory overload of thrilling coasters, elaborate live shows, and family-friendly magic.

The Ultimate Ride Arsenal:
2025 saw a massive upgrade to the park‘s lineup, and you’re here to reap the rewards. Don‘t miss the Super Splash, a groundbreaking water coaster that uses the world’s first “rotating dual-lift” system for an immersive, IP-driven splashdown experience. For those who crave pure, heart-racing speed, the Catapult Roller Coaster will launch you from 0 to adrenaline in the blink of an eye, while the Super Pirate Ship swings you to stomach-flipping heights. If you‘re traveling with family or prefer a more relaxed pace, the park offers a huge selection of milder thrills like the Hurricane Flyer, Magic Swing, and the whimsical Family Roller Coaster. The recently added Interstellar Battleship and other new-generation attractions ensure there’s a perfect ride for every comfort level.

Spectacular Live Shows:
Beyond the hardware, be sure to catch the Joyful Spectacular Parade, where elaborate floats and energetic performers wind their way through the park in a riot of color and music. It‘s a quintessential theme park moment that captures the joyful spirit of Guangzhou’s younger generation.

  • Panoramic City Views and an Optional Sky-High Ferris Wheel Experience at the Iconic Canton Tower — Evening Transfer to Shenzhen
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Morning — Leisure Time in Guangzhou:
Enjoy a relaxed morning in Guangzhou. You might want to explore the city at your own pace—perhaps wander through the shaded arcades of the old quarters, visit a local tea market, or simply savor a leisurely Cantonese breakfast.

Afternoon — Ascend the “Slim Waist” of Guangzhou:
No trip to Guangzhou is complete without a pilgrimage to the Canton Tower (Guangzhou Tower) , an architectural icon that pierces the skyline at 600 meters. Locals affectionately call it “Xiao Man Yao” (Slim Waist) for its elegant, twisting hourglass silhouette. Your journey begins with a high-speed elevator that whisks you to the indoor observation deck at 433 meters, where floor-to-ceiling windows reveal a sprawling carpet of the Pearl River Delta.

For the ultimate experience, step up to the Bubble Tram—the world‘s highest horizontal Ferris wheel, perched 460 meters above the ground. Each of the 16 transparent, spherical cabins provides a slow, rotating 360-degree view of Guangzhou’s majestic layout. This is the best seat in the house for sunset, as the city‘s glass skyscrapers catch the golden light before the neon signage takes over. If you’re feeling brave, consider walking the Skywalk on the outdoor rim or testing your nerves on the Sky Drop free-fall experience (optional, not included).

Late Afternoon — High-Speed Transfer to Shenzhen:
After descending from the clouds, your private driver will transfer you to the station for the high-speed train to Shenzhen—a journey that takes just about an hour. Upon arrival in this dynamic tech hub, you‘ll be met and transferred to your hotel, ready to explore China’s most futuristic city.

  • Futuristic Light Spectacle at Civic Center and a Scenic Coastal Train Ride Along Shenzhen‘s Beautiful Shoreline for a Leisurely Seaside Stroll
  • Hotel: 4+stars Hotel
  • Meals:Breakfast

Shenzhen is a city of contrasts, where cutting-edge technology meets laid-back coastal vibes. Today you’ll experience both extremes.

Morning/Afternoon — Ride the “Train to the Sea”:
Ditch the traffic and hop onto Shenzhen‘s acclaimed Metro Line 8—known locally as the “Train to the Sea.” This line is an attraction in its own right, burrowing through mountains and emerging right onto the stunning coastline of Yantian District. You’ll ride the sleek train as it transitions from urban density to lush greenery before spilling you out near the famous beaches of Dameisha or Xiaomeisha. Once there, swap the train tracks for the Coastal Boardwalk. This scenic path hugs the shoreline, offering a gentle sea breeze and unobstructed views of the South China Sea. It‘s a serene and uniquely Shenzhen experience—a leisurely seaside stroll that feels a world away from the neon chaos of the city center.

Evening — The Civic Center Light Show Extravaganza:
As darkness falls, make your way to Shenzhen Civic Center for one of the most spectacular free shows on Earth. The “Brilliant New Era” light show transforms over 40 skyscrapers in the Central Business District into a single, synchronized canvas of LED art. You’ll stand in the sprawling square (or on the nearby Lotus Hill) as the city erupts into a choreographed symphony of music, lasers, and animated visuals projected across the entire skyline. It‘s a dazzling, goosebump-inducing display of Shenzhen’s technological prowess and creative energy—an absolute must-see that perfectly encapsulates the spirit of China‘s Silicon Valley.

  • The Ultimate Shenzhen Urban Experience — Trendy Exploration at MixC World, Tech Treasure Hunt at Huaqiangbei Electronics Market, and a Culinary Street Food Adventure at Dongmen Old Street
  • Hotel: None
  • Meals:Breakfast

Your final full day is a masterclass in Shenzhen’s modern lifestyle: a perfect trifecta of chic shopping, tech wizardry, and legendary street eats.

Morning — The Trendsetter‘s Playground at MixC World:
Start your day in the fashionable Nanshan District at MixC World, an avant-garde shopping complex designed in a unique “Block + Mall” format. This isn’t just a place to spend money; it‘s a social hub and architectural statement. Wander through the open-air lanes lined with flagship stores, international designer boutiques, and chic cafes. Keep an eye out for the iconic giant elephant sculpture and the “Shenzhen Manhattan” skybridge photo spot. If you’re craving a uniquely local treat, stop by the newly opened Heytea Cake Lab, the first of its kind in China, where you can sample inventive desserts like the Taro and Cassava Cake that reimagine classic Cantonese flavors in a modern bakery setting.

Afternoon — A Geek‘s Paradise at Huaqiangbei:
Next, dive headfirst into the organized chaos of Huaqiangbei, the world’s largest electronics marketplace and the beating heart of Shenzhen‘s tech ecosystem. Whether you’re a serious gadget enthusiast or just curious about the sheer scale of it all, this place is a sensory overload in the best possible way. Wander through the massive SEG Electronics Market, where floor after floor is packed with vendors selling everything from the latest AI-powered smart glasses and 3D printers to obscure microchips and every smartphone accessory imaginable. You‘ll see international buyers wheeling suitcases full of new tech “treasures” and local engineers tinkering with prototypes. Even if you don’t buy anything, the vibrant, entrepreneurial energy is infectious. It‘s a fascinating glimpse into the engine room of the global tech supply chain.

Evening — A Feast for the Senses at Dongmen Old Street:
Cap off your Shenzhen adventure with a food crawl through the historic Dongmen Pedestrian Street. While the architecture here hints at the old market town, the atmosphere is pure 21st-century street food heaven. Follow the crowd to the recently renovated Dongmen Food Street, where you can graze on an incredible variety of local and regional snacks for just a few dollars. Your mission: taste the perfect charcoal-grilled oysters drenched in garlic sauce, devour some juicy barbecue skewers from a late-night stall, and maybe finish with a silky bowl of sweet dofu fa (tofu pudding). It‘s a noisy, smoky, deliciously chaotic conclusion to your South China journey—the perfect place to soak up the real, unfiltered flavors of Shenzhen before your departure tomorrow.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
