Q & A

Is this 9-day Hong Kong–Guilin–Guangzhou tour too packed with different cities?
Not at all. The itinerary is carefully paced. You'll start with Hong Kong's vibrant urban energy, then fly to Guilin for a relaxing Li River cruise and bamboo rafting, and end in Guangzhou for culture and modernity. We've balanced travel days with leisure time so you never feel rushed.
What is the weather like across these destinations, and what should I pack?
Hong Kong and Guangzhou are subtropical – hot humid summers (28–35°C), mild winters. Guilin is similar but cooler in the mountains with occasional rain. Pack light breathable clothes, comfortable walking shoes, a waterproof jacket/umbrella, and sun protection. A light sweater is useful for Guilin's cooler evenings.
What type of accommodation is provided, and can I request upgrades?
We offer 8 nights in carefully selected 4-star (or higher) hotels, with breakfast included. Extra beds, room upgrades to 5-star, or downgrades are available upon request – contact us in advance. In Guilin, we can arrange river-view rooms (subject to availability). Just let us know your preferences.
Any special packing or practical tips for this cross-border tour?
Yes. Hong Kong uses a different power plug (Type G) – bring an adapter. Carry some Hong Kong dollars and RMB cash; not all places accept cards. For Guilin's outdoor activities, pack insect repellent and a rain poncho. Also bring a power bank for long days. We'll send a detailed pre-departure guide before you go.
