Q & A

What is the weather like in Chengdu, and what should I pack?
Chengdu has a mild, humid climate with occasional drizzle. Summer temperatures average 25–32°C, winter 5–15°C. Wear comfortable walking shoes, light layers, and bring a waterproof jacket or umbrella. In summer, sun protection is helpful; in winter, a warm coat is essential. A small daypack for water and personal items is also recommended.
What transportation is provided for this tour?
We provide private, comfortable car/van service with a professional, English-speaking driver for the entire day – including hotel pickup and drop-off in Chengdu, plus all transfers between the Panda Base and the museum. You don't need to worry about navigation, parking, or taxis. Our driver knows the best routes to maximize your time.
What is the best time to see pandas at the base?
Pandas are most active in the morning, especially between 8:30–10:00am, when they are fed and play. That's why we start early – to catch them at their liveliest. Afternoon visits are still enjoyable, but they tend to sleep more. We'll make sure you arrive at the best viewing time for your visit.
