Walk Along Jinbian Creek: The Soul of Zhangjiajie’s Stunning Landscapes

Located in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park in Hunan, China, the Jinbian Creek is about 7.5 kilometers long and is known as "the most beautiful canyon stream in the world". The stream here is clear, the strange peaks are lined up, and the primeval forests on both sides are dense.

 

1. Excursion routes

Entrance selection: Enter from the gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and walk for about 15 minutes to the starting point of Jinbian Creek.

Highlights:

Jinbian rock: Shaped like an inverted golden whip, it is the origin of the name of the stream.

Shenying Hubian: The boulder spreads its wings like an eagle, guarding the Golden Whip Rock, and the legend is full of mystery.

Changshou spring: Legend has it that drinking this spring water can prolong life.

2. Highlights

Healing experience: The murmuring of the stream and the chirping of birds are quiet, suitable for relaxation.

Ecological treasure house: Rare animals and plants such as dove trees and macaques can be seen along the way.

3. Tips

Transportation: Take a taxi or bus from Zhangjiajie city center to the forest park ticket station (about 40 minutes).

Hiking time: about 2-3 hours.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
