Day 1: ancient city wall and Muslim Street

You can rent a bicycle and ride along the city wall to appreciate the ancient buildings inside and the modern urban landscape outside, as if traveling between ancient and modern times.

 

Noon: Go to Huimin Street to taste all kinds of authentic Huimin snacks, such as Pita bread soaked in Lamb Soup, Liangpi, Roujiamo, etc. This is not only a paradise for food, but also a showcase of folk culture, where you can see the traditional dietary customs and lifestyle of the Hui people.

 

Afternoon: Continue to stroll around Huimin Street, visit the mosque, and learn about the religious culture and architectural style of the Hui ethnic group. The architectural style of the mosque is unique, combining the characteristics of traditional Chinese architecture and Islamic architecture, and is a symbol of the multicultural integration in Xi'an.

Day2: Tang Dynasty Night City and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

In the morning, head to the Tang Dynasty Night City and stroll along this pedestrian street full of Tang style and ancient charm, enjoying Tang style architecture and sculptures. There are many actors and street performers dressed in Tang costumes here, as if taking you back to the prosperous era of the Tang Dynasty.

 

Noon: Taste Shaanxi specialty dishes such as oil splashed noodles, steamed cakes, etc. at restaurants near Datang Night City. These delicacies not only have unique flavors, but also contain rich folk cultural connotations.

 

Afternoon: Visit the big wild goose pagoda to understand its historical significance as a Buddhist holy site. The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is one of the iconic buildings in Xi'an, and together with the Dacien Temple, it witnesses the spread and development of Buddhist culture in Xi'an.

 

Evening: Watch the Big Wild Goose Pagoda music fountain performance. Day3: Chang'an Twelve Hours and Yongxing Square

Morning: Arrive at the Chang'an Twelve Hour Theme Block, dressed in Tang costumes, and immerse yourself in the life of the Tang Dynasty. Here, you can interact with historical figures such as "Di Renjie" and "Wu Zetian", enjoy traditional dance performances such as "Ni Chang Yu Yi Dance", and feel the prosperity and charm of the Tang Dynasty.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal!
