In Xi'an, spring brings a gradual warming of temperatures, but there remains a notable difference between day and night. In March, average temperatures range from 5°C to 14°C, increasing to 10°C to 22°C in April, and reaching 15°C to 28°C in May. Precipitation during spring is moderate, with occasional light rain showers. This is a wonderful time to explore the city's historical sites and blooming gardens, but it is advisable to dress in layers as mornings and evenings can still be chilly.

Summer (June to August):

Xi'an experiences hot and humid summers, with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 32°C, often exceeding 35°C during peak periods in July and August. These months are marked by frequent rainfall, particularly in July and August, when thunderstorms and heavy rains are more common. Summer is Xi'an’s rainy season, and visitors should be prepared for both high temperatures and the likelihood of rain. It's important to stay hydrated, and carry rain gear to avoid getting caught in sudden downpours.

autumn (September to November):

Autumn in Xi'an sees cooler, more comfortable weather, with temperatures gradually dropping. September averages 18°C to 26°C, October cools to 10°C to 20°C, and November brings temperatures of 5°C to 12°C. Rainfall decreases compared to summer, though some rain can still occur. The autumn months are ideal for sightseeing, as the skies are often clear and the landscape, especially the countryside, takes on beautiful fall colors. This season is perfect for outdoor activities and enjoying the historical charm of Xi'an.

Winter (December to February):

Winter in Xi'an is cold and dry, with average temperatures ranging from -2°C to 6°C in December, dropping to -4°C to 3°C in January, and gradually warming slightly to -2°C to 7°C in February. Cold winds from the north can make the temperature feel even lower. Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
