Upon arrival, you'll have the opportunity to experience classic winter activities - you can choose to ride through the snow-covered landscape on a traditional horse-drawn sleigh or feel the excitement of a dog-sledding adventure. As evening falls, the village transforms into an even more magical scene, with red lanterns casting a warm glow against the pure white snow and countless stars appearing in the clear night sky above this winter paradise.

Q & A

How cold does it actually get, and can I handle it?
Winter temperatures in Harbin drop to -15°C to -30°C (5°F to -22°F) – that’s colder than most freezers. But with the right clothing (thermal base layer + fleece + thick windproof down jacket + insulated snow boots), thousands of tourists manage it every year.
what should I pack for the cold?
Layer up: thermal underwear (base), fleece or thin down (mid), and a thick windproof/waterproof down jacket (outer). For your feet, waterproof anti-slip snow boots with thick fleece lining are non-negotiable. Don’t forget a hat, thick scarf, touchscreen gloves, and heat packs – your phone will die in the cold without one.
Can I use my credit card, or do I need cash?
Most merchants accept Alipay or WeChat Pay – link your international card before you travel. Cash is rarely used. Keep a small amount of RMB as backup for street vendors and smaller shops.
