Fujian is one of China’s most fascinating provinces, offering a delightful mix of natural wonders, historical landmarks, and coastal beauty. Perfect for those seeking both adventure and relaxation, Fujian provides a wealth of experiences to suit every traveler.

Start your exploration in Xiamen, a vibrant city known for its blend of modernity and tradition. Xiamen’s Gulangyu Island is a highlight, with its lush gardens, narrow lanes, and colonial architecture. Visit Shuzhuang Garden, a tranquil place with traditional Chinese landscaping, and explore Gulangyu Piano Museum, one of the island’s cultural gems. Xiamen also offers a fantastic food scene, where you can sample local treats like peanut soup and oyster omelets.

For those interested in history, Fuzhou, the capital of Fujian, offers insights into the province’s past with its ancient temples and historical sites. Visit the West Lake Park and the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys to experience a glimpse of traditional Chinese life.

The Wuyi Mountains are another must-see, with their mist-covered peaks and serene rivers. Hiking through the Wuyi Mountains offers not only a chance to explore the natural beauty of the region but also the opportunity to learn about Wuyi tea, one of China’s most famous tea varieties. Visitors can enjoy tea-picking experiences and discover the history of Tea Culture in this picturesque mountain range.

Fujian Tulou is an iconic sight in the province’s countryside. These ancient, circular, earthen structures were designed to protect families from invasions. Some Tulou complexes, like those in Yongding, have been preserved for centuries and offer visitors a glimpse into ancient Hakka culture.

For a unique and relaxing experience, end your trip in the coastal city of Quanzhou, where you can visit the Kaiyuan Temple and explore the city’s rich Islamic and maritime history, a testament to the region’s importance during the Maritime Silk Road era.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
