Breakfast & Lunch
After breakfast, we will begin the day by exploring Sanfang Qixiang, also known as the “Three Lanes and Seven Alleys.” This well-preserved historical district dates back to the Tang and Song dynasties and is home to many ancient mansions, museums, and traditional courtyards. As you walk along the cobbled paths, you’ll discover rich cultural heritage and stories of famous scholars and revolutionaries.
Next, visit Yantai Mountain Park, a scenic hill offering great views of the city and the sea. It’s also home to colonial-era architecture from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, giving you a glimpse into Fuzhou’s past as a treaty port.
After lunch, we’ll make a visit to Zhongzhou Island, located in the Min River. Surrounded by water and greenery, the island has walking trails, modern art installations, and offers a refreshing contrast to the urban surroundings.
Our last stop is Shangxiahang, an ancient commercial district that has been revitalized as a modern cultural and creative zone. You’ll find local handicrafts, traditional snacks, and boutique shops in historical buildings.
