How to Get There: A Seamless Connection Guide
Seven Star Park is centrally located on the east bank of the Li River in Guilin City, making it easily accessible via multiple modes of transport.
Traveling from across the country: Take a High-Speed Train (G-train) or flight to "Guilin." Travel Tip: Guilin Liangjiang International Airport has shuttle buses to the city center.
From the Airport: Take the airport shuttle bus to downtown (¥20, approximately 30 minutes), and then take a taxi or public bus directly to one of the park's gates.
By Public Transit: An extensive network of city buses—including routes 10, 11, 14, 18, 24, 25, 30, 31, 98, 52, and 58—provides direct connections to various park entrances.
Within the Park: An internal network of pedestrian paths winds through gardens and connects all major sites. For a less strenuous experience, electric shuttles link the major zones, allowing you to conserve energy for exploring the caves and peaks.
Important Return Travel Reminder: While the park itself has set closing hours, city buses in Guilin generally operate until late. However, always check the schedule for your specific bus route. Taxis and ride-hailing services (via app) are readily available throughout the city center for a convenient return to your hotel.
Best Time to Visit
Seven Star Park offers beautiful scenery in every season, though the atmosphere varies distinctly throughout the year.
Spring & Autumn "Golden Seasons" (March--May; September--November): The climate is pleasant and comfortable. Spring's defining spectacle is the eruption of peach blossoms at Camel Hill, while autumn offers crisp air, clear skies, and a gentle climate perfect for long strolls. Both seasons provide ideal conditions for photography, especially during the golden hours of dawn and dusk when the light drapes the karst landscape in a warm, ethereal glow.
Summer Verdant Season (June--August): The park is a lush, green retreat. The constant 20°C climate of Seven Star Cave makes it a particularly appealing sanctuary from the summer heat. Visitors should take precautions against sunburn and sudden rain showers.
Winter Tranquility Season (December--February): Crowds thin significantly, offering a more solitary and contemplative experience. The entry of clear winter light into Hua Bridge's arches can create perfect photographic conditions, and the lack of foliage reveals the stark, haunting beauty of the karst peaks.
