Mutianyu Great wall
Mutianyu Great wall
Mutianyu offers an alternative Great Wall experience compared to the popular Badaling section. This portion of China's ancient engineering marvel features an optional cable car ride, or an opportunity to climb more than 1,400 steps to the top.Mutianyu Great Wall is much steeper than Badaling Great Wall, and a more challenging climb. This section is older than Badaling, and features outer and inner parapets.

798 Art Zone
Once a factory complex built in the 1950s, 798 Art Zone has turned into a famous art district. Old industrial workshops now house galleries, art studios, design shops, cafes and street murals. Visitors can see modern art exhibitions, creative sculptures and unique industrial architecture. It is a popular spot for art lovers and photographers to experience contemporary Chinese art.
Bird nest & water cube(outside view)
Bird nest & water cube(outside view)
This pair of iconic landmarks sits in Beijing Olympic Park. The Bird’s Nest gets its name from its tangled steel lattice exterior, built for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Summer Olympics and 2022 Winter Olympics. Right beside it, the Water Cube features a translucent bubble-shaped membrane facade inspired by soap bubbles.

Mutianyu & Olympic Park – Icons Without the Crowds

This 1-day tour pairs Mutianyu’s restored, less-crowded Great Wall with exterior photo stops at the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. You walk the wall and capture Olympic-scale architecture without rushed group logistics. Ideal for first-time Beijing visitors, families, and time-limited travelers who want two signature experiences in one smooth day. I’ve vetted the pacing and the honest “outside view” note. You leave with iconic photos and real Great Wall sweat.

Mutianyu Toboggan Ride
After descending from the watchtowers, take the 1,580-meter metal toboggan track down the mountainside. Control your own speed as you slide through the forest, a long-time favorite for visitors and locals alike.
Notice: It is suitable for riders aged 4 to 60.

Watchtower-to-Watchtower Walk
Walk the 2,250-meter restored stretch and pass 22 watchtowers. Choose the steep climb from Tower 14 to 20 for panoramic views, or take the cable car up and stroll along the ramparts.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
