Lushan Mountain Scenic Area
Lushan Mountain, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and National 5A-level Tourist Attraction, is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, cultural heritage, and ecological diversity. Located in northern Jiangxi Province, this iconic mountain range spans 302 square kilometers and rises 1,474 meters at its peak (Hanyang Peak). Famed for mist-shrouded peaks, waterfalls, and ancient temples, it has inspired poets, scholars, and pilgrims for millennia, including Li Bai, Su Shi, and Xu Xiake. Its designation as a UNESCO site in 1996 highlights its blend of natural beauty and cultural significance.
