Day 1: Guiyang City - Cultural Immersion
Arrive in Guiyang, the capital city, and start your exploration with a visit to Qingyan Ancient Town, a well-preserved Ming Dynasty town filled with traditional architecture and temples. Wander through its narrow streets and learn about the local history. For lunch, try Huaxi Beef Rice Noodles, a Guiyang specialty, and visit the Jiaxiu Pavilion to see the stunning views of the Nanming River. In the evening, sample some of the street food at Qianling Street Night Market.
Day 2: Kaili - Ethnic Villages and Crafts
Travel to Kaili, the heart of Guizhou’s Miao and Dong ethnic cultures. Visit Langde Miao Village and Matang Gejia Village, where you can witness traditional Miao dances, try on ethnic costumes, and learn about the intricate art of batik. Enjoy lunch with the locals, trying dishes like Miao sour fish and taro rice cakes. In the afternoon, explore local markets where you can buy handcrafted silver jewelry and textiles.
Day 3: Zhenyuan - Ancient Town and Scenic Views
Head to Zhenyuan, an ancient town known for its historic riverside views and traditional architecture. Visit the Wuyang River and take a boat tour while sampling rice wine and local snacks. For lunch, try Zhenyuan-style tofu and enjoy the picturesque streets. Spend the evening at Longchang Ancient Town, known for its ancient bridges and traditional wooden houses.
Day 4: Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village
Visit Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, the largest Miao village in China. Explore the beautiful terraced fields, watch local Miao Festivals, and savor dishes like Miao-style smoked chicken and pickled vegetables. Learn about the Miao’s cultural customs, including their famous silver jewelry-making.
Day 5: Guiyang - Tea and Departure
Return to Guiyang and visit a local tea plantation to learn about Guizhou's famous Green Tea. Enjoy a final meal of Sour Fish Soup, a signature dish of Guizhou, before departing for the Airport.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic!
Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale.
For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
