My wife said this is the most correct decision I have ever made!

Take her to Shanghai for our perfect honeymoon

When the sunset on The Bund dyed the Oriental Pearl TV Tower red, my wife suddenly turned around and kissed me - this romantic moment that did not happen under the Paris Tower happened in the silhouette of the skyscraper in Shanghai. This city, mistakenly believed to be only made of steel and cement, took us three days to understand what the correct way to open a 'Shanghai style honeymoon' is.

Day1 14: 00 | Encounter Republic of China Love Letter on Wukang Road

In the sunlight filtered by wutong leaves, coffee fragrance wafts from the corner of "Wukang Building". Walking with his wife's hand in the old villa area of "Thick Oil and Red Sauce", every brick carving tells the story of Zhang Ailing and Hu Lancheng's past. Ordering a Spanish latte at '% Arabica', with the second floor terrace facing the former residence of Soong Ching ling, I suddenly understand why Shanghai is called the 'Magic City' - the time and space are so fascinating folded.

Photo Tip: Locate the Beast Sect on Anfu Road, and the second floor window can frame the panoramic view of Wukang Building.

Day2 10: 00 | Disney's Hidden Easter Eggs

As I screamed on the Creative Speed Wheel at Shanghai Disneyland, my wife held my hand tightly as if returning to her first love. But what really moved us was dinner on the terrace at 'Barbossa Barbecue' in the evening - when the fireworks of Caribbean pirates illuminated her mouth with rib sauce, more enchanting than any castle fireworks.

Couple Tips: Book the Royal Banquet Hall in advance and bring your own BGM when cutting steak under the crystal light.

Day3 09: 00 | Fireworks password for the old city

On the Jiuqu Bridge in the "Chenghuang Temple", the wife smiled like a woman in the south of the Yangtze River wearing a newly bought velvet hairpin. Turn into the "Green Wave Corridor" for breakfast tea. The soup of crab meat dumplings and the eaves of Yu Garden outside the window form a perfect picture. When the waiter brought the Babaofan (Rice pudding with eight-delicious ingredients) with the words "Happy Birthday", he suddenly understood what the Shanghainese mean by "rice road whine" - a sweet blessing to the heart.

Night 19: 00 | Moonlight Cocktail on the Bund

On the terrace of the Roosevelt Lust and Caution Bar, the bartender specially prepared "Bund Moonlight" for us - jasmine flowers soaked in gin met homemade bayberry juice, and the popping candy on the rim of the cup exploded on the tip of the tongue. Suddenly, the lights of Lujiazui on the other side flickered collectively. My wife said, "This is more exciting to me than the New York New Year's Eve crystal ball landing

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
