Dali Ancient City
Located in Dali City, Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province, Dali Ancient City is a witness to Dali's history and a cultural treasure. The ancient city has a history of more than 600 years so far. It's the former ancient capital of the Dali Kingdom. The ancient city is surrounded by the Erhai Sea in the east and Cangshan Mountain in the west, with lofty walls. The streets in the city are crisscrossed with many Bai-style houses and stores, full of ancient and romantic atmosphere.
Dali Ancient City is open all year round and does not require an entrance fee, so tourists are free to go in and out of the city to experience the local culture in depth.
