Daci'en Temple, located in the southern suburbs of Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province, is one of the most famous and magnificent Buddhist temples in the Tang Dynasty's Chang'an City, with a history of more than 1,350 years.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda is located in the Daci'en Temple, which was built under the auspices of Venerable Xuanzang to preserve the scriptures and Buddhist images brought back to Chang'an from the Celestial Dharma via the Silk Road.
