Chengdu's 9 lesser-known destinations

1. Xiaotong Alley

It is one of the many "slow life" alleys in Chengdu, and it is also a silhouette of Chengdu's leisurely and gentle temperament. In the fiery revolutionary years, Xiaotong Alley was the home of revolutionary workers. The factory that produced thermos bottles in Chengdu was built here in the 1970s. Today, this alley, which is less than 200 meters long, is full of characteristic coffee houses, water bars, grocery stores, etc.

The street park where Chengdu people love to drink tea leisurely is a comprehensive garden that integrates cultural relics and leisure and entertainment. The park is composed of natural landscapes such as Jinshui Creek and Bonsai Garden. The various vegetation planted along the coast complement the stream. Goldfish Island and Yongju Tea House are integrated to create a cultural place for fish viewing and tea tasting. At present, there are more than ten kinds of precious goldfish on the island. The most famous in the park is Heming Tea House. Its style has not changed for nearly a hundred years. The standard configuration is bamboo chairs, low tables, and covered tea bowls. The best tea is "fragrant slices". Chengdu People's Park is a great choice to experience the leisurely life and slow time of the locals, so as to truly experience the lifestyle of the "leisure capital".

6. Qintai Ancient Trail

This ancient trail is very historical and appeared as early as the Western Han Dynasty. It was to commemorate a very famous love story, that is, the love and hatred between Zhuo Wenjun and Sima Xiangru. At that time, they bought wine here, so it got this name. Now, the Qintai Ancient Trail we visited is full of Han Dynasty cultural elements wherever we go, as if we were traveling back to the prosperous dynasty. These elements include singing and dancing, banquets, and horse-drawn parades. There are rich performances every day, and we can slowly appreciate this niche attraction.

8. Jinxiu Tianfu Tower

This tower is a radio and television tower, similar to The Oriental Pearl Tower. It is not only a transmitter for radio and television signals, but also a tourist attraction. Standing here, you can see the particularly shocking face of Chengdu, and the ticket price is reasonable. The biggest feature of this observation deck is that it has a high-altitude glass design, so when you stand on the observation deck hundreds of meters high, there is an extremely terrifying transparent glass below, which is a bit scary.

9. Fangsuo (Chengdu Taikoo Li)

It integrates bookstores, aesthetic life, coffee, exhibition space and fashion, and it is presented to you like a mysterious treasure base.
