The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are located in the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit, 1.5 kilometers east of the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor in Lintong District, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. These Terracotta Warriors and Horses are a category of ancient burial sculptures, which were made into the shapes of soldiers and horses (chariots, warhorses, and soldiers) to replace human martyrdom. The discovery of the terracotta warriors and horses not only reveals the high level of sculpture art of the Qin Dynasty, but also provides valuable physical information for us to understand the military, political, economic and cultural aspects of the Qin Dynasty.

Terracotta Warriors and Horses Pit is an underground tunnels type of civil engineering structure, the pit buried thousands of ceramic terracotta warriors and horses similar to the size of real people, they are arranged in an orderly manner, magnificent, known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". The Terracotta Warriors and Horses are made with exquisite craftsmanship, and each terracotta warrior is lifelike, with different forms, showing the mighty army of the Qin Dynasty and the excellent skills of the Qin Dynasty craftsmen.
