3-Day Xi'an Adventure: Explore Nature and Ancient Wonders

This 3-day itinerary in Xi'an offers a thrilling yet serene adventure through Mount Huashan, Qinling Mountains, Famen Temple, and Huaqing Hot Springs, providing visitors with a unique blend of natural beauty, wildlife encounters, cultural exploration, and relaxing experiences.

Day 1: Mount Hua – A Thrilling Adventure

Start your adventure in Xi'an with a visit to Mount Huashan, one of China’s Five Great Mountains, known for its steep cliffs and stunning landscapes. It’s a must-see for thrill-seekers and nature lovers. Take the cable car to North Peak, then hike the breathtaking Plank Walk—a narrow path along a cliffside with only a harness to keep you safe. If you prefer a more relaxed route, you can explore the temples and pavilions scattered across the mountain. Enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valleys and mountains.

For those looking for an overnight adventure, you can choose to stay on the mountain, where you can watch the sunrise from the summit for an unforgettable experience.

Day 2: Qinling Mountains – Nature and Wildlife

On Day 2, explore the beautiful Qinling Mountains, located just outside Xi'an. This mountain range offers a mix of pristine natural landscapes, rich biodiversity, and serene hiking paths. Begin your day by visiting the Qinling panda Reserve to learn about China’s famous giant pandas. You’ll have the chance to see these beloved creatures up close, as well as other wildlife native to the region.

Next, go for a hike in the Qinling Mountains, where you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the forest and take in stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The area is known for its rich flora and fauna, including rare species like the golden monkey.

Day 3: Famen Temple and Huaqing Palace

For a more relaxing day, visit the Famen Temple, located in the foothills of the Qinling Mountains. This ancient temple is home to an important Buddhist relic and offers a peaceful atmosphere perfect for reflection and exploration.

Afterward, unwind at the Huaqing Palace, a scenic and historic area with natural hot springs and beautiful gardens. The site is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a perfect mix of nature and culture, making it the ideal way to end your nature-filled adventure.

This 3-day itinerary combines adventure with natural beauty, taking you through Xi'an’s mountains, wildlife reserves, and serene outdoor spots. Whether you’re into thrilling hikes or relaxing in hot springs, this plan offers the best of Xi’an’s natural wonders.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
