Travel suggestion: It is recommended to enter through the Meridian Gate and visit the main buildings such as the Hall of Supreme Harmony, Qianqing Palace, and Kunning Palace along the central axis. Finally, leave through the Shenwu Gate. If time permits, one can delve into the Six Palaces of the East and West, experiencing the luxury and delicacy of royal life.

Geographical location and transportation: Baita Park is located in Xicheng District, about a 30 minute walk from the Forbidden City, or you can take Metro Line 4 to Ping'anli Station.

Highlights: White Pagoda Park is centered around the White Pagoda, with lush green trees and clear lake water. It is a great place for Beijing residents to relax and take a walk. The White Pagoda Park in spring, with cherry blossoms in full bloom, is breathtakingly beautiful.

Day 2: From The Summer Palace to The Great Wall

Morning: Summer Palace

Geographical location and transportation: The Summer Palace is located in Haidian District, Beijing. You can take Metro Line 4 to Beigongmen Station or Xiyuan Station, and walk there.

Highlight: The Summer Palace is renowned for its grand scale and exquisite architecture. The rippling waves of Kunming Lake, the majestic Wanshou Mountain, the towering Buddha Fragrance Pavilion, and the exquisite paintings on the long corridor all tell an ancient story.

Travel suggestion: It is recommended to enter through the North Palace Gate, take a stroll along the long corridor, and enjoy the colorful paintings and the scenery of the lake and mountains. Highlight: The Badaling Great Wall is renowned for its grandeur and magnificence, and is the most well preserved section of the Ming Great Wall. Day 3: Ming Thirteen Tombs to Hutong

Morning: Ming Thirteen Tombs

Geographical location and transportation: The Ming Thirteen Tombs are located in Changping District, Beijing. They are a group of tombs for Ming emperors and one of the largest and most well preserved tomb groups in China. You can take the subway Changping Line to Changping Station, then transfer to a bus to get there, or choose to participate in a one-day tour group.

Characteristic highlights: The Ming Thirteen Tombs are renowned for their grand scale and profound historical heritage. Dingling is the tomb of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty. The underground palace displays a large number of precious cultural relics, showcasing the luxurious lifestyle of ancient emperors. Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
