As soon as I walked into Tianning Temple, I was attracted by the quaint temple architecture. The temple faces north and south, with a rigorous layout that showcases the unique style of Liao Dynasty architecture. Red walls and gray tiles, towering ancient trees, like a historical painting slowly unfolding before my eyes. Strolling in the temple, every step is marked by history, feeling the tranquility and solemnity that have been accumulated for thousands of years.

The most eye-catching thing in Tianning Temple is undoubtedly the Liao Dynasty Buddhist pagoda. The pagoda rises high into the clouds, with a unique shape. The body of the pagoda is carved with exquisite Buddha statues and decorations, showcasing the superb craftsmanship of the Liao Dynasty craftsmen. Standing under the tower and looking up, one cannot help but marvel at the vicissitudes of time and the weight of history. This pagoda is not only a landmark building of Tianning Temple, but also an important cultural heritage of Beijing.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
