Entering the Prince Gong's Mansion, the first thing that catches the eye is the magnificent architectural complex. The layout of the mansion is rigorous and orderly, and every detail reveals the prominent position of the owner. Both carved beams and painted rafters and exquisite stone carvings are amazing. This is not only a model of Qing dynasty royal palace architecture, but also an unmissable stop in Beijing tourism.

1. Appreciate the artistic beauty of the Prince Gong's Mansion

During my visit to the Prince Gong's Mansion, I was deeply attracted by its artistic beauty. The garden design inside the mansion is cleverly crafted, with pavilions, towers, rockeries, ponds, and marshes complementing each other, forming a beautiful painting. Strolling through it, it feels like being in a peaceful paradise, making one feel relaxed and happy.

In addition to architectural and garden art, the Prince Gong's Mansion also houses a large collection of artworks. Whether it's Calligraphy and Painting, Porcelain, jade, gold and silverware, they all showcase the treasures of traditional Chinese culture. These artworks not only have extremely high ornamental value, but also serve as important physical materials for studying Chinese history. For individual tourists, this is undoubtedly an excellent place to learn about Beijing culture.

2. Explore the historical stories of the Prince Gong's Mansion

The Prince Gong's Mansion is not only a beautiful scenic spot, but also a living history textbook. Many Qing dynasty princes once lived here, witnessing the rise and fall of the Qing dynasty. During the tour, I carefully listened to the tour guide's explanation and learned about the historical evolution of the Prince Gong's Mansion and the legendary stories of its owners.

These historical stories have given me a deeper understanding and recognition of the Prince Gong's Mansion. It is not just a luxurious mansion, but also a place full of humanistic sentiment and historical heritage. Here, I seem to be able to travel through time and space, engaging in a dialogue with the princes of history that transcends time and space.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
