The small ice slides take children from age 4 accompanied by an adult. The large multi-lane slide has a minimum age of 7 and a minimum height of 1.2 meters. Your 8-year-old can ride the big one. Your 5-year-old can do the smaller slides and the snow maze. Staff check height with a marker post at the queue entrance.

My son was 6 and rode the small slides ten times while the older one did the big slide. The staff measured the younger one but let him on the medium slide with me sitting behind. No tears, no arguments. The snow maze tired them out more than anything.
