During the 72-hour transit to Hunan, you can stay in the administrative area of Hunan Province, but due to time constraints, we recommend that you visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, where the movie "Avatar" was set, and there are countless natural wonders that will make you marvel, and if you are a hiking enthusiast, we recommend that you visit Zhangjiajie National Forest Park or Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park (choose one of the two); if you also want to learn about China's ancient towns and ancient Chinese mountain cities, we recommend that you add Furong Old Town or choose one of the two. Zhangjiajie National Forest Park: This is one of the most famous attractions in Zhangjiajie, boasting thousands of natural landscapes such as strange peaks and rocks, primitive forests, and a sea of clouds and waterfalls. In addition, scenic spots such as Yuanjiajie and Huangshizhai are also the highlights not to be missed.

Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park: This place is famous for Tianmen Cave and Glass Trail. Visitors can take the world's longest alpine passenger ropeway to the top of Tianmen Mountain to enjoy the spectacular sea of clouds and the strange sight of Tianmen Cave.

Baofeng Lake: Known as the "Yaochi on earth", the lake and mountains are breathtakingly beautiful.

Huanglong Cave: Known as the "underground magic palace", this cave has a variety of strange stalactites and stalagmites.

Fenghuang Ancient City: Although Fenghuang Ancient City is not in Zhangjiajie, it is not far away from Zhangjiajie (about 4 hours' drive), and as an ancient city with a thousand years of history, it has preserved a large number of ancient buildings and traditional culture, which makes it an excellent choice for tourists to experience the western Hunan style and look for the marks of history. If time permits and transport is convenient, you can consider including Phoenix Ancient Town in your itinerary.

Furong Ancient Town: Surrounded by water on three sides, Furong Town is an ancient town inhabited by Tujia people, with a history of more than 2,000 years, also known as the "thousand-year-old town hanging on the waterfall.
