This trip will take you to some of China's most impressive sites in Xi'an and the Yangtze River region.
On this tour you will not only visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the Small Wild Goose Pagoda and the Ancient City Wall, but you will also be able to see the Terracotta Warriors up close and take a cruise on the magnificent Yangtze River!.

We will drive about 40 kilometers to the world-famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses. These Terracotta Warriors were built by China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang, to protect him in the afterlife. Over 8,000 life-size terracotta figurines, horses and chariots were buried underground for over 2,000 years until they were discovered in 1974. Standing in front of these spectacular statues, you will be awed by the ambition of Emperor Qin Shi Huang and the skill of ancient Chinese artisans.
Before
visiting the Terracotta Warriors Museum, you will also have the
opportunity to experience traditional culture by making a miniature
Terracotta Warrior under the guidance of a local potter.
After lunch, we will return to downtown Xi'an and visit the Da Ci'en Temple.
This temple was a famous translation site of Buddhist scriptures during
the Tang Dynasty. The temple has a 64.5-meter-high pagoda, the Big Wild
Goose Pagoda, which was built by the Buddhist master Xuanzang to
preserve the scriptures he brought back from India.
If you are interested, you can climb the Big Wild Goose Pagoda (extra charge applies) for a great view of the city.
As night falls, we will take you to Grand Tang Dynasty Ever Bright City.
It is a unique Tang Dynasty cultural theme imitation complex in China,
where you can enjoy rich singing and dancing performances and charming
night scenery.

In the morning we will visit Xian Museum and Small Wild Goose Pagoda . Items on display at the Xi'an Museum include Shaanxi history and culture, ceramics, bronzes, calligraphy and painting, and stone carvings. The most distinctive part is the Shaanxi history and culture area, which shows the historical changes and cultural inheritance of the Shaanxi region from ancient times to modern times.
Then we will go to the Ancient City Wall, which is the largest and best-preserved ancient city wall in China. You will pass through the Hanguang Gate, as if traveling back to the prosperous scenes on the ancient Silk Road. On the city wall, you can rent a bicycle (extra charge applies) for a leisurely ride and enjoy the panoramic view of modern Xi'an.
Then we will also take you to visit the bustling Muslim Quarter to taste the authentic local snacks and experience the different cultural atmosphere.
In
the Afternoon, you will take a high speed train train from Xi'an to Chongqing. Your
tour guide will wait for you at the airport and help you to transfer to
the ship.
Yangtze River Cruise--Fengdu Ghost City

Wake up in the morning, Enjoy the serenity of the
Yangtze River and the leisure time on board. You can practice Tai Chi to
harmonize your body and mind with nature or attend lectures on the
history and culture of the Yangtze River. In the evening, there will be a
captain's welcome party and evening show on board.
You can choose to join the activities on the cruise or take an optional tour to Fengdu County. This place has been known as the "Ghost Town"
since ancient times, with mysterious legends about the underworld, the
shadow of the underworld and cruel punishments. Along the way, you'll
encounter demonic statues in various forms, either hideous or cunning.
Fengdu County is an important part of the Three Gorges Reservoir Area and boasts unique natural and cultural landscapes, including Fengdu Ghost City, Shuanggui Mountain, Xueyu Cave, etc.

Exploring Fengdu Ghost City requires a lot of walking, we recommend you wear comfortable shoes

Today you will sail through the Three Gorges of the Yangtze River. Travel through the Qutang Gorges and Wu Gorges.
Today's shore excursion will take you deep into Fengjie County, Wu County or Badong along the Three Gorges, each journey carrying a different history and legend. You can also choose to the Baidi City (Note: this tour requires an additional fee)
The cruise continues and in the afternoon you will arrive at the Wu Gorges.
Here, you will change to a small boat and travel gently along the
stream and deep into the narrow gorge. Shennu Creek, Shennong Creek and
the Little Three Gorges give you a close-up view of the treacherous
peaks and the coffins on top of the cliffs.
In the evening there will be a Captain's Farewell Party and you will have a great night.
Three Gorge Dam--Yichang Departure

After breakfast, you will visit the Three Gorge Dam - learn more about the historical background of it and enjoy the beautiful scenery around .
After the visiting, You will be picked up from the ship and transferred to Yichang Dong Station to your next destination or home.
Optional Activities:
Experience a voyage on the Three Gorges Dam Boat Lift. This is the world's largest and most complex shiplift, and in just 40 minutes, you can gain a deeper understanding of this great project.
