If you open Shanghai in the form of a movie

Shanghai is a natural film studio, with Wong Kar wai's soft light filter hidden in the alleys shaded by wutong trees, and Hou XiaoXian's poetic lens twinkled in the wave light on the Huangpu River. When the graceful cheongsam silhouette of "In the Mood for Love" brushes past Wukang Road, and the dazzling neon lights of "Tiny Times" illuminate Lujiazui, we follow the map and travel through different movie universes in three days, salvaging the light and shadow memories that belong to this city.

Day 1: Lujiazui&The Bund - A Dual Variation of Cloud Light and Shadow and Night Banquet Narrative

Lujiazui: Desire and Poetry Above the Clouds (Corresponding to "Tiny Times" and "Chinese Partners")

In the morning, Lujiazui, with the cold and advanced feeling of "Small Times", the transparent viewing platform of the sightseeing hall on the 118th floor of Shanghai center Building looks like a glass box hanging in the clouds, with the traffic like ants under its feet, and the Huangpu River in the distance draws a silver ribbon. When sunlight penetrates through the clouds, the angular glass curtain wall of Jinmao Tower reflects a diamond light, which is the language of the urban elite's camera.

In the afternoon, entering the "City Observation Deck" of the Global Financial Center, the classic scene of Cheng Dongqing standing in front of the glass curtain wall in "China Partners" is recreated here. The Century Avenue beneath my feet extends radially, like a runway leading to success in a movie. In the evening, the steel structure mushroom lights in the central green space of Lujiazui shine with starlight, and Takeshi Kaneshiro's private kitchen in "Like You" may be hidden behind a glass curtain wall in a cloud apartment building.

Movie Egg: Sit down near the window of "Duoyun Academy • Flagship Store", order a latte, watch the revolving stairs that Gu Li walked through in Small Times flow in the light and shadow, and the skyline formed by the Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the "three piece set" in the distance is the best backdrop for the urban dream.

The Bund: A Night Banquet like Narrative of Flowing Light (Corresponding to "Lost Stories on the Bund" and "Lust and Caution")

When the lights are on, the Bund transforms into a flowing screen from "Lost Stories on the Bund". 52 historical buildings switch their faces under the magic of a lighting engineer - the green copper roof of the Peace Hotel is the top hat of Old Kler, and the dome mural of HSBC tells the story of Far Eastern finance. Walking along the flood control wall, in Lust, Caution, the Garden Bridge of Shanghai where Wang Jiazhi and Mr. Yi walked is playing a real ambiguous drama. The street lamp pulls the shadow very long, and the river wind brings the whistle sound a hundred years ago.

Night Tour Tips: Climb onto the first deck of the "Bund Source" that appeared in "1921", order a cocktail, and watch the neon lights on the opposite bank of Lujiazui shatter into sparkling spots on the river surface. 20: At 00 o'clock, I looked at the customs building, and the bell from Gu Li's birthday party in "Tiny Times" rang here. With 12 roars, it shattered the silence of the night, as if putting a diamond necklace on the entire city.

Day 2: Wukang Road&Jing'an Temple - Time Film of wutong Lane and Red World Zen

Wukang Road: Flowing Literary Montage (corresponding to "In the Mood for Love", "The Wind Listening", and "Like You")

The early morning Wukang Road is a slow motion in Wong Kar wai's camera - wutong leaves tremble in the morning wind, the shutters of the old western-style houses leak mottled light and shadow, and Maggie Cheung's cheongsam hem in In the Mood for Love sweeps over the Parthenocissus on the brick wall. Starting from the saddle shaped corner of Wukang Building, there is a mailbox where Zhou Dongyu rode by on his bike in "I Like You" and a window sill where Tony Leung listened to the wind of the times in "The Wind Lister".

Roaming Guide: Get into "Farine" to buy some hymns, sit in the outdoor space of "Wu Kangting" where Takeshi Kaneshiro and Zhou Dongyu date in "Like You", and watch retro dressed pedestrians walk by, as if crossing into the Shanghai branch of "Love Before Dawn". When passing by Ba Jin's former residence, pay attention to the carved window in the poem "Song of Everlasting Regret" where Wang Qiyao looks out from afar. Time has gently wrinkled here.

Jing'an Temple: Zen inspired Long Shot in the Red Dust (Corresponding to "Mission: Impossible III" and "Lust, Caution")

In the afternoon, Jing'an Temple switches to a montage that is suitable for both movement and stillness in the car chase scene of "Mission: Impossible 3". The incense burner in front of the Golden Mahavira Hall emits smoke, forming a wonderful dialogue with the fashionable window of Nanjing West Road outside the temple. Following the stone path that Tang Wei walked along in "Lust, Caution" and circling around the temple, watching the prayer wheel and LV flagship store harmoniously coexist in the same frame is a unique film grammar belonging to Shanghai.

Camera capture: Climbing onto the rooftop of Ruiou Department Store, taking a panoramic view of Jing'an Temple with a telephoto lens. The visual conflict between the upturned eaves and the glass curtain wall is exactly the urban spirit portrayed in "Captain China" - practicing in the hustle and bustle and calming down in the hustle and bustle.

Day 3: Disney&Yuyuan Road - A Stacked Shadow Tour of Fairy Tale Castles and Lane Fireworks

Disney: Realistic Fairy Tales from DreamWorks (Corresponding to Frozen, Pirates of the Caribbean, Zootopia)

Immerse yourself in the Disney movie universe all day: dance with Elsa from Frozen in Wonderland in the morning, cross Treasure Cove on a Pirates of the Caribbean warship in the afternoon, and catch Officer Judy's figure on the streets of Zootopia in the evening. When dusk falls over the fantasy fairy tale castle, the pumpkin carriage of Cinderella drives by, and the fireworks show blooms above the castle, everyone becomes the protagonist of a Disney movie.

Dream making tip: Book the "Toy Story" themed package in advance at the "Mickey Good Friends Delicious Market", and in the evening, go on a small boat at the "Crystal Colorful Voyage" to see the sculpture of "The Little Mermaid" emerge in the twilight. This is a fairy tale ritual for adults.

Yuyuan Road: Long shots of delicious food in the alleyway (corresponding to "I Like You" and "The Ferryman")

Yuyuan Road in the twilight is the food set of 'I Like You'. The shrimp fried eel noodles at the old Shanghai noodle shop sizzled in an iron pot, while the small bar where Tony Leung Chiu wai mixed drinks in "The Ferryman" was hidden deep in a alley. Walking into 'Foolish Noodles', watching the chef smash noodles like a craftsman in a movie, then turning around and encountering the lightning puffs made by Zhou Dongyu in' I Like You 'at' BitterSweet ', the coffee aroma and fireworks atmosphere achieve a wonderful reconciliation here.

Taste montage: Buy a crab powder mixed with noodles and sit on a bamboo chair at the entrance of the alley, watching the qipao auntie in "Flowers" and the exquisite old Kler in "Love Myth" pass by each other. Shanghai's culinary philosophy is hidden in this bowl of thick oil red sauce.

In three days, we recreated the magnificence of "Small Times" in Lujiazui, picked up the fragments of "In the Mood for Love" in the wutong Shadow on Wukang Road, and relived the touch of childhood movies in the fireworks of Disney. The wonder of Shanghai lies in the movie Easter eggs hidden on every street corner, and the lingering stories carried by every river breeze. When you leave, you will find yourself already a frame in the movie of this city - perhaps a silhouette in the night view of the Bund, perhaps a latte on the windowsill of the Wukang Road caf é, or perhaps the starlight in the eyes of Disney fireworks. Next time we meet, remember to bring the script and unlock more undiscovered city storyboards.
