  • Breakfast

After breakfast, you will embark on an extraordinary journey to explore natural wonders and industrial memories.

Your first stop will be the mysterious Black Oil Mountain Park, a wonderland where nature meets industrial history. At the heart of the park is a unique hill made of black asphalt, as if it were a black pearl that nature had inadvertently spilled. Hundreds of oil springs of various shapes dot the mountain, tirelessly spitting out precious low pour point crude oil, which, due to its extremely low wax content, can flow freely in the cold as low as -70 degrees Celsius, demonstrating the wonders of nature. Research by geologists has shown that this magical land has been nurturing this underground treasure for 200 million years, witnessing the earth's long history of change.

After breakfast, we will drive to Lingshui, with our destination being the vibrant and interesting Nanwan Monkey Island. As China's unique island-type macaque nature reserve, it is home to more than 2,500 lively macaques, which are nature's elves, and together with the island's nearly 400 species of tropical plants and 100 species of animals, they create a vivid ecological picture.

Upon arrival at Monkey Island, we will take a unique cable car ride, a breathtaking journey across the blue sea. As the cable car rises slowly, the coastal scenery and the scattered fishing villages along the way are interwoven into a moving picture, making you feel as if you are in a flowing landscape painting.

After getting off the cable car, you will officially step into the Nanwan Monkey Island Park, which will be a paradise for close contact with macaques. You can follow the park's carefully paved paths through the lush jungle, where the monkeys lounge in the sun, jump from branch to branch, and some of the boldest of them will sneak up on you to get a curious look at your new visitor. You can witness them playing in the water, climbing trees and picking fruits, and interacting with people in a way that is both shy and curious, each interaction filled with laughter and warmth.

In the afternoon, we will board a boat and sail to the Danjia Bay, a mysterious village floating on the Xincun Harbor. The villagers here have been living on boats and fishing for generations, and their unique way of life and deep family culture form a bright landscape on this sea. You can stroll among the wooden boat houses, talk with the locals and listen to the touching stories about the sea, boats and family heritage, and you will deeply feel the unique charm and profound heritage of boat-dwelling culture.

With the setting sunlight spreading over the surface of the sea, we will end the day's wonderful sightseeing and drive to the hotel to draw a successful conclusion for this unforgettable Lingshui trip.

Notes:
1) Dress plainly, brightly colored clothes will attract monkeys' attention and increase the risk of interaction.

2) Open your bag carefully in front of the monkeys to avoid misjudging it as a source of food, which may lead to scrambling.

3) Be careful when feeding the monkeys, give the monkeys in a single serving to avoid competition among monkeys and to ensure a safe distance.

4) When children are interacting with monkeys, adults should supervise the whole process and do not leave young children alone to prevent accidents.

5) Treat the monkeys with respect and do not intimidate, scream or stomp on the monkeys to prevent them from misinterpreting it as hostility and to ensure harmonious coexistence.
