1. Changling

The largest and best-preserved tomb among the thirteen tombs, the surface building is magnificent, and the Bei En Hall is made of precious golden silk nanmu wood.

2. Dingling

The only tomb with an open underground palace that you can explore, going 27 meters below ground to see the coffins of Emperor Wanli and two empresses, along with many artifacts (like golden crowns and phoenix crowns).

3. Zhaoling

The first tomb among the thirteen to be extensively restored, featuring a complete architectural layout and a serene environment.

A 7-kilometer-long path lined with 24 stone beasts and 12 stone figures, with exquisite carvings, showcasing Ming dynasty stone carving art.

Wear comfortable shoes: The tomb area is quite large and involves a lot of walking.
