Best to take the bus to the Great Wall: You can take the 877 bus (from Deshengmen) to Badaling Great Wall or take the train (Beijing North Station to Badaling Great Wall Station).

Great Wall: It’s recommended to visit places like Badaling and Mutianyu in the morning.
