Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain
Tianmen Mountain is Zhangjiajie’s ultimate thrill ride — hop on the world’s longest 7.45km alpine cableway that soars straight from downtown over cloud-wreathed peaks, walk the cliff-hanging glass skywalk with nothing but thin air beneath your feet, and climb the 999-step “Stairway to Heaven” to stand right under the massive natural Tianmen Cave carved into the cliff face.

Tianmen mountain glass skywalk
Tianmen mountain glass skywalk
Tianmen Mountain Glass Skywalk, nicknamed the "Eastern Sky Road", clings 1430 meters up to the cliffside for 60 meters of fully transparent glass. Slip on the free shoe covers, and you’ll step right onto the thin, see-through surface with nothing but open air and jagged valley peaks beneath your feet. On misty mornings, clouds curl right up to the glass, making it feel like you’re floating high above the world.
Li Na Villa
Li Na Villa is that tiny, unexpected hidden spot right outside Tianmen Mountain’s cable car top station. Back in 1997, the iconic singer behind the hit Tibetan Plateau fell totally for this mountain’s quiet magic, built a cozy little wooden cabin here, and only stayed one month before gifting it to the park. Now it’s a laid-back two-story wooden retreat — perfect for a 5-minute chill break, with that wild, quiet mountain vibe you won’t find anywhere else on the mountain.
72 Unusual Houses
72 Unusual Houses
72 Unusual Houses, Zhangjiajie’s Guinness-certified tallest Tujia stilted building, looks like a floating ancient wooden village hanging 15 meters above the ground. Made of 18 reassembled 200-year-old traditional Tujia stilted houses, it glows with a stunning neon light show after dark, packed with lively folk performances, local street food, and intangible heritage craft stalls — the city’s most fun, atmospheric spot for a vibrant, unforgettable night out.

Shopping on Nanjing Road in Shanghai was just amazing! It's truly the "First Commercial Street of China", where tradition and modernity blend perfectly. You can find awesome souvenirs and experience the trendy vibes in cool stores. The neon lights at night are just spectacular, shining bright like Times Square in New York. The food here is incredible too. I had a feast for my taste buds. Shanghai, I'll definitely be back!

As a solo traveler from Canada, I was nervous about navigating China alone—but this 11-day tour was PERFECT! From hiking the Great Wall at sunrise (Day 3) to gasping at the Terracotta Army (Day 5), every day delivered ‘pinch-me’ moments. The real showstopper? Zhangjiajie’s Avatar Mountains (Day 7)! Our guide made the stone pillars come alive with stories. Massive thanks for handling all logistics—bullet train tickets, entry passes, car! And the 4-star hotels surprised me.

Our 2-day Zhangjiajie tour was beyond spectacular! As someone who’s visited Beijing and Shanghai for work, this trip revealed China’s wild, magical heart. Day 1 in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park felt like stepping onto Pandora—I’m a huge Avatar fan, and Yuanjiajie’s floating peaks left me breathless. The misty pillars and lush valleys like pure movie magic! Then came Fenghuang Ancient Town, we eat dinner beside the thundering waterfall. It seems Unreal! The night views of stilt houses glowing over the river were straight from a fairy tale. For fellow Avatar lovers and adventure seekers: Don’t miss this bucket-list experience! 10/10 would return.
