The 6-day Shanghai-Suzhou-Nanjing tour

We're three adults and my parents in their 70s. They can walk but not for hours. The 6-day Shanghai-Suzhou-Nanjing tour, is it too much moving around for them?

The pace is manageable. Suzhou gardens are compact with benches throughout. Nanjing's Ming Xiaoling has a paved main path and you can skip the steeper side trails. Your guide adjusts the walking distance each day based on how they feel. We also keep the vehicle close so they can rest anytime.

My parents similar age. The key was the guide who let them walk at their own speed. At the gardens they sat by the lotus pond while we explored further. The driver was always nearby. They loved Nanjing most because the mausoleum area has a shuttle tram.
