It's more cultural than scary. The statues depict folk beliefs about the afterlife and are quite colorful. The main concern is the amount of walking, so comfortable shoes are a must.

Ah it's grand. My lad is nine and he thought the demon statues were gas craic. A few spooky faces but nothing that'll give them nightmares. The stairs were the real challenge.
