Compared to Dayan and Shuhe, Baisha retains the most authentic Naxi culture with fewer tourists, ideal for immersive experiences. Sip "Snow Mountain Coffee," watch artisans at copperware shops, or try your hand at traditional crafts like tie-dye or Dongba paper-making.  

Afternoon: Yuhu Village
In the afternoon, explore Yuhu Village, the inspiration for Shangri-La in Lost Horizon. Known as "Lijiang’s best-kept secret," the village features rustic houses built entirely of glacial sedimentary rocks—no cement used. Ride a horse along the Tea Horse Road, watch locals churn butter tea, or taste freshly baked barley bread. This untouched gem offers a glimpse into the region’s pastoral roots.
