It is one of the most ideal habitats for giant pandas, where you can observe their behavior, especially during feeding time when they enjoy bamboo. The base also features an education center, where you can learn about panda habitat and conservation efforts. The visit will take around 2 hours.
After lunch, proceed to Wenshu Monastery, a historic Buddhist temple known for its serene environment, ideal for worship and meditation. Here, you can admire impressive Buddhist architecture and exquisite statues. Afterward, enjoy some traditional vegetarian dishes at a nearby restaurant.
Next, head to People's Park, a popular leisure spot for locals. Surrounded by lush trees and clear water, you can relax and experience the laid-back lifestyle of Chengdu residents. In the park, visit a teahouse to taste authentic Sichuan tea and unwind.
In the evening, visit Jinli Ancient Street, an ancient street next to the Wuhou Shrine, known for its old architecture and vibrant local folk culture. The street is lined with small shops selling Sichuan specialties and snacks, offering an excellent chance to explore local culture and savor Sichuan cuisine.
