The Leshan Giant Buddha
The Leshan Giant Buddha is located at the confluence of the Dadu, Qingyi and Min rivers. The Buddha is a seated statue of Maitreya Buddha, with a height of 71 meters, a head height of 14.7 meters, a width of 10 meters, 1,051 hair buns, and ear length of 7 meters, making it the largest rock carving statue on a cliff in China.
It took about ninety years to complete the excavation of Leshan Giant Buddha, which is the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancient Chinese working people and a miracle in the world's cultural history.
